What a grand celebration for Paul Lawrence at his 95th birthday on Saturday at the Oak Cliff Country Club. Most of his family was present, including our two dear friends, Henrietta Pummill and Sue Lawrence. Then, we were privileged to hae two of his daughters and their husbands present for our Sunday service.
Isn’t it amazing how great Paul is for one of such advanced age. Hey, brother, that’s not old. We are truly blessed by his good health and stamina.

Beginng Sunday, August 5th, those who watch The Search, will have the privilege of hearing some guest speakers. On August 5, Russell Dye will be the guest speaker. He preaches for the Southern Ridge church in Oklahoma City. You will remember having Hershel Dyer in the past for a couple of our continued meetings. He is Russell Dyer’s father and a very dear friend of mine.
Russell will be speaking on “What It Means To Be Lost.” Join him at 7:00 a.m. on Channel 27, KDFI-TV and tune in next to Eddie Parish’s program that follows.

For those who might be interested, Ann Taylor has donated a book for the Library entitled, “A Newcomer’s Guide To the Bible.” It would be a great book to use as we continue to study with Richard Rogers in the history of the Old Testament.
The book will be located on the library card file at the west end of the bookshelves. Although it is not yet cataloged, it will hae a library card in place for you to check it out. Our special thanks to Ann for her generosity.
